This project explores how VR Technology could transform our daily life, assuming that in 10-15 years, mixed reality content could be displayed through regular glasses.

[01/Idea]

Every day, we encounter information from various sources—university feedback, conversations, podcasts, or while shopping. After gathering it, they are stored across different devices, notes, or simply in memory. Yet, when we try to recall it later, we often can’t locate the information. Spot is a tool designed to accommodate all forms of information. By being location-based, it ensures you find your information exactly where it’s most relevant. The vision is to create a comprehensive network of your ideas, making them accessible regardless of their form.

[05/Design]

While we can display information in our environment at all times, we don't want it constantly in your field of view, potentially distracting you from the real world. That's why we designed spots to be subtle and non-intrusive. Only if you gave them the characteristic they change their look on time to remind you that your ideas get relevant now.
You’ll know that information is available, but it’s up to you to decide when to engage with it.

Those are our Spots. To fill them with your informations, text, audio or images to smart tools like data trackers can be used.

[03/Immersive]

Sometimes, you want to explore more than one place's ideas. The Immersive Space offers a comprehensive network of your saved informations, allowing you to see all your thoughts visualized and in context to each other. It reveals links between ideas from different places and times, creating new ideas and perspectives.

[04/Interface]

Spots can be managed and seen in the Spots App. Here, they can be filled with information. Users see their Spot with the different customization opportunities. Once applied, they appear next to the Spot.

Since this technology is not yet available, we decided to create a prototype in the Apple Vision Pro. With this prototype our vision, can be experienced by our users.

[06/Prototype]

In Swift UI we used HandTracking and Collision Detection to create a 3D environment where the user can interact with the Spots.

A huge part of this project came to live while Prototyping and it was with this project when our group felt in love with the idea of actually trying our ideas and making them work
